[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]This year, the FT European Cup was organized in Austria, and in Hungary’s 5 membered National Wirehaired Vizsla Team, 4 were Zöldmális (Lepke, Zala, Huba, and Zsivaj). The competition was between the Shorthaired and the Wirehaired Vizslas. Each nation could enter a team of 5 dogs (mix of shorthairs and wirehairs), or a team of 5 wires and a team of 5 shorthairs. Only Hungary could enter a separate team of wires and shorthairs. There were 12 nations entered, altogether 48 dogs.
The conditions were very challenging: the weather was very warm and dry, and most of the dogs had to work in high sugar beats. There were 3 groups of judges, everyone was selected by lot, which group he/she belongs to. The competition was 2 days long. On the first day, Lepke didn’t have luck in finding birds, but both Zala and Huba made a nice job, and were graded ‘very good’. On the second day, Zala won her group of 16 dogs, and Lepke became the overall 2nd out of 48 dogs, with resCACIT title! The winner dog was a shorthaired vizsla from Denmark.
And with these, the Wirehaired Vizsla Team of Hungary became 2nd, after the Danish Team![/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent”][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”3″ images=”4598,4599,4597″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” column_number=”2″ img_size=”large”][vc_separator type=”transparent”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
